This program offers an exciting gateway into the dynamic world of hospitality management. Through six months of comprehensive study, students will gain a solid foundation in the essential operations that drive success in the hospitality industry. Following this, a six-month Co-op placement provides the opportunity to apply their knowledge, gain valuable hands-on experience, and build connections within the field.

Hotel Restaurant

Admission 

  • High School Diploma, High School Completion Certificate, or equivalent.
     

  • English Proficiency: 

    • IELTS 5.0 overall with a minimum score of 4.5 in each section.

Step One

Six months of in-class learning.

Your program will take place at Canadian College's downtown campus, located near Burrard Skytrain Station. 

You may work 24 hours/week during this time.

Step Two

Six months of co-op

Canadian College will then place you into a co-op job within the hospitality industry. You will work full-time and utilize the skills you've picked-up in class. This a great chance to get practical hands experience. 

Step Three

Apply for a work permit

Before you graduate, Northern Life will help secure an Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) for you. This means you'll have a seamless transition from Study Permit to Work Permit.
